Helping respond to Nicaragua’s short-term needs and the long-term impacts of COVID-19 through the implementation of health infrastructure projects and the procurement of vaccines, medical goods and laboratory supplies.

Supporting partners’ emergency response efforts as they respond to natural disasters. This includes helping to reestablish services and economic activities in critical sectors, building resilient infrastructure such as housing and roads, and strengthening the capacity of fisheries on the Caribbean coast.

Supporting the government of Nicaragua to strengthen public institutions by providing technical assistance and supervision of projects and programmes under the Multisectoral Program for Economic Reactivation and Social Protection.
