New study brings 13 authors together on a range of legal aspects of blockchain topics, including identity, data ownerships, cryptocurrencies, and its use in the UN system.

UNOPS Executive Director, Grete Faremo, and H.E. Dr. Bandar M. H. Hajjar, Islamic Development Bank Group (IDBG) President, signed a Memorandum of Understanding today.

Participants will assess efforts undertaken, as well as opportunities to strengthen the UN’s work on peacebuilding and sustaining peace. UNOPS Executive Director Grete Faremo will attend.

The new agreement between USAID and UNOPS represents a commitment to a stronger working relationship between the two organizations.

Participants will discuss how to improve private sector contributions to the 2030 Agenda and strengthen partnerships. UNOPS Head of Global Innovation and Technology Jonas Svensson will participate in a panel discussion on innovation.

The event will explore new ways to address the critical gap in financing for national non-communicable disease responses. UNOPS Partnerships and Liaison Group Director Nikolaj Gilbert will give a keynote address.
