Strengthening the national examination system in Ethiopia
UNOPS and Ethiopia's Ministry of Education are working together to support the establishment of a robust, efficient and effective national examination administration system.
As part of a $2 million project, UNOPS will provide logistical and operational support to help the Ministry of Education digitize exam administration, which will enhance the security of Ethiopia’s exam process. This will help establish a reliable examination framework that meets international standards and ensures fair, transparent assessments of all students nationwide.
“We are proud to support the government of Ethiopia in enhancing educational infrastructure – a cornerstone for socio-economic advancement,” said Worknesh Mekonnen, Director of UNOPS Multi-Country Office in Ethiopia.
The project will help build confidence in the country’s educational framework, aligning with Ethiopia’s goals of strengthening its human capital.
