Integrating technology in the classroom promotes equal opportunities, boosts students’ motivation, enhances inclusion and improves overall academic outcomes. Digital tools can support students with learning difficulties through innovative and engaging educational programmes.

UNOPS is working with the Ministry of Economy and Public Management and the Ministry of Education of Córdoba to make educational technologies more accessible to teachers and students in primary and secondary schools in the province.

As part of the initiative, 48,000 netbooks have been procured for hundreds of public schools – paving the way to more inclusive, equitable and quality education in the Province of Córdoba.

Savings generated through UNOPS efficient and transparent procurement processes are being used to purchase additional educational robotics kits.

“This project is an important step towards ensuring comprehensive learning opportunities in the province's schools, promoting digital education in the classroom for thousands of students and teachers,” said Ignacio Lacasta Casal, UNOPS portfolio manager in Argentina.
