As part of an $8.4 million project, UNOPS will work with Tunisia's Ministry of Education to procure more than 6,700 desktop computers, more than 1,200 photocopiers and over 4,400 video projectors for several primary schools in Tunisia.

Part of the 'Strengthening Foundations for Learning Project' (PREFAT) project – an ongoing $100 million World Bank initiative aimed at enhancing the educational framework in Tunisia and improving access to quality preschool and primary education – the project will support the Ministry of Education with ensuring that Tunisian children and teachers benefit from new, modern learning equipment.

“UNOPS is proud to partner with the Ministry of Education and the World Bank to enhance learning in Tunisia," said Nathalie Angibeau, UNOPS Director for North Africa.

"By providing modern learning equipment, we aim to create a stronger educational foundation for primary school children – helping them thrive in the future,” she added.
